A TRIBUTE TO TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).
The Theme
Redefining Success
Society has its own definitions of success: making a lot of money, becoming a famous celebrity or being the most popular kid in school. We at TEDxYouth@MinnetonkaHS believe that success is not a two-dimensional concept. Success can take on many different forms, mean many different things for everyone and even change constantly. Our goal with this theme is to open people's minds to the endless possibilities of what success can look like in their lives.
The Goal
Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder - and provoke conversations that matter.
